Depressing Period Homophobia and Misogyny
I'm only reading this because it got a mention in a period show I watch, and I wasn't sure if the author was real or just a vague amalgam of psychologists around at that time. Well, it turns out he was real and even though it is a fictional character struggling with being a homosexual, my heart hurts thinking about him reading this book (which would do nothing but fuel his self-hatred and the totally misguided view that he can become a heterosexual). I hope this story arc doesn't end in tragedy. :( (Why do I even care? I guess corona has made me *way* more invested in fictional characters than I ever have been before, sorry if I sound a little off, I'm not usually like this).
That aside, there are a number of pages missing in the last section of the book, so I'm giving it a low rating (I feel kinda weird rating the content but yeah let's say the content also gets the lowest rating because it's just awful).
